[Book Review] Otherworld Nights: An Anthology By Kelley Armstrong & Coffee AM Old-Fashioned Gingerbread Flavored Coffee
I have a confession to make: I’ve never read any of the books in the Otherworld series. I’ve always meant to, but the closest I’ve come to it is watching the Bitten TV show, based on the book of the same name, airing on the Syfy channel. I decided to read this collection of short stories as a way to get a little of sample of the much acclaimed series and see if it fit my taste, as one might buy a sample assortment of a popular brand of chocolates before investing in a five pound box based on word of mouth alone.

Witty and action-packed, Hunting In Bruges follows twenty-year-old Jenna Lehane as she hunts for whatever’s been killing tourists in the historic Belgium city of Bruges. I almost didn’t want to even read this book, worried that it would break my heart as I really loved these two guys together, but I had…

[Book Review] In The Raw By Eileen Griffin And Nikka Michaels & Schuil Coffee Co. Chocolate Éclair
As a fan of cooking competition shows, I knew I was going to like this book. Those who enjoy cooking or cooking shows will love the familiar cooking methods and terms that provide the flavor for this book (see what I did there? ), but they’re used and explained in such a way that even if you have no experience with these things going in, you’ll still be able to enjoy it. And I did, I really enjoyed this book, as much for the culinary school setting as for the great main characters.
